Ms. Delphine Phelps

Ms. Phelps brings along with her 20 years of experience working as a preschool Director in several well – established Preschools in the State of TX. She holds TX Preschool Director License. She has years of teaching experience in the Preschool level teaching students ages 2-5. She was highly commended by all her previous employers. She is starting her 5th year with Renaissance Academy. She led the Pre-School to earn a very distinguished TX Rising Star Accreditation with the highest possible ranking of 4 stars during the 2017-2018 academic year. Ms. Phelps served in one of the Primrose Preschool locations building the program from the ground up. She takes pride in establishing a very innovative program and increasing the preschool enrollment from 70 students to 175 students during her 5-year employment term with them. Ms. Phelps has successfully managed an after-school program in Austin for 2 years. Between 1997 and 2007 Ms. Phelps was the Director of another franchise preschool program. She built the program from the ground up and successfully managed it for 10 years. She designed the rooms, researched age-appropriate curriculum for toddlers to five-year-old hired and trained the staff, and held special events. Ms. Phelps is well versed in the area of Early Childhood Education and staff training. She is very familiar with Texas Day Care and Preschool Licensing Standards of health, safety and curriculum expectations.
