Mr. Abelardo Lopez

Mr. Lopez joined Renaissance during 2019-2020 academic year as a 3rd teacher. He holds a master’s degree in Reading Instruction as well as a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas-Pan American, Edinburg, Texas. Mr. Lopez has more than 15 years of experience teaching a wide range of elementary grades in the area of Reading. He served as a Coordinator of the Gifted and Talented program with Weslaco I.S.D. Mr. Lopez is a published researcher and a presenter in multiple conferences. He also served as a South Texas I.S.D. Education Foundation Board Member.
