Uniform Policies

To ensure modesty and a disciplined academic environment, Renaissance Academy makes it mandatory for students to acquire and wear the necessary uniform items appropriate for their grade level.  Renaissance Academy has worked with French Toast to develop a catalog that meets most of our uniform needs.

How to purchase uniforms?

  • Read the uniform policy carefully.
  • Click here to purchase uniforms from French Toast.When you use this link, Renaissance Academy will qualify for "Give back to your school" incentive. If you are asked for the school code, please use QS5YRSK.

    • Girl's Uniform

    • Boy's Uniform

     

    The Girls uniform policy is as follows:

     

    Pre-K - 3rd Grade:

     

  • Navy blue Two Pleat Front Jumper (from Frenchtoast.com)
  • A white polo shirt or blouse with a collar (long or short sleeve)
  • Black pants (PreK and Kindergarten students have the option of wearing black tights)
  • White socks
  • Closed shoes (no sandals and no heels). Shoes should be either sneakers or black dress shoes. No shoes with skates will be permitted.
  • Sweaters: Navy blue sleeveless V-neck vest or navy blue sweater.
  • Jackets: No color or style code.
  •  

    4th - 5th Grade:

  • Navy blue Two Pleat Front Jumper (from Frenchtoast.com)
  • White long-sleeve polo shirt or white blouse with a collar.
  • Black pants.
  • White Hijab (with no ornamentation or colorful embroidery)
  • White socks
  • Closed shoes (no sandals and no heels). Shoes should be either sneakers or black dress shoes. No shoes with skates will be permitted.
  • Sweaters: Navy blue sleeveless V-neck vest or navy blue sweater.
  • Jackets: No color or style code.
  • [Instead of the jumper, shirt and pant set, 4th and 5th grade girls have the option of wearing a black or blue abaya or jilbab. The abaya or jilbab must be plain with no ornamentation or colorful embroidery. A white shirt and black pants should be worn underneath.]
  •  

    6th Grade and up:

  • Black or Blue Abaya or Jilbab. The Abaya or Jilbab must be plain with no ornamentation or colorful embroidery. A white shirt and black pants should be worn underneath
  • White Hijab (with no ornamentation or colorful embroidery)
  • White socks
  • Closed shoes (no sandals and no heels). Shoes should be either sneakers or black dress shoes. No shoes with skates will be permitted.
  • Sweaters: Navy blue sleeveless V-neck vest or navy blue sweater.
  • Jackets: No color or style code.
  • [Instead of the Abaya or Jilbab, the 6th grade and up girls have the option of wearing a Navy Blue Two Pleat Front Jumper. A white shirt and black pants should be worn underneath.]

    High School

    High School girls have the option of wearing white or black hijabs


    Physical Education (PE) Uniform

    On PE days, girls have the option of wearing navy blue athletic pants and a loose, long sleeve white shirt (must cover hips)

    The uniform policy for boys is as follows:

     

  • Navy blue pants with a belt. [Pants must be dress pants, no blue jeans or denim material will be permitted.]
  • White polo shirt or White shirt with a collar.
  • White socks
  • Closed shoes (no sandals). Shoes should be either sneakers or black dress shoes. No shoes with skates will be permitted.
  • Sweaters: Navy blue sleeveless V-neck vest or navy blue sweater.
  • Jackets: No color or style code.

    High School

    High School boys have the option of wearing khaki instead of navy blue pants and light blue instead of white shirts.


    Physical Education (PE) Uniform

    On PE days, boys have the option of wearing navy blue athletic pants instead of dress pants

    This can only be worn on PE days. On non-PE days students must wear the regular school uniform

    Renaissance Education Foundation

    Renaissance Education Foundation (REF) is an Austin based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to support youth activities that cater to the need of our community. REF's mission is to promote academic excellence, leadership skills, and distinguished moral principles in youth by providing infrastructural, operational and monetary support. Renaissance Academy is a REF initiative.
