Congratulations to our Cen-Tex History Fair 2015 Winners!

At the Central Texas History Fair held on Feb 21, 2015, Renaissance middle and high school students bagged 9 place awards with 6 students advancing to State Level Competition.  

Renaissance student also won the the Locke Liddle & Sapp LLP Legal History Award  for her Individual Exhibit: The Republic of Texas.


Congratulations to our Austin Regional Science Fair 2015 Winners!

At the Austin Regional Science Festival held from Feb. 19 - 21, 2015, Renaissance high school students received 3 place awards and 2 special awards.  

Our elementary school had 9 participants and we received 7 first place and 1 second place and 1 third place award.


Congratulations to our School Spelling Bee Champion!

The School Spelling Bee was held on January 8, 2015. The Competition included 24 students in grades 1-8.

1st Place: Rayyan Merchant 

2nd Place: Baahira Akber

3rd Place: Maryam Sheikh

The School Champion for 2015 is: Rayyan Merchant from 6th grade !!!  Rayyan will compete in the Regional Spelling Bee.


Congratulations to our 2014 PSIA District Winners!

At PSIA district meet Renaissance Academy won the fist place (overall). Received 64 place awards and 15 students advanced to state level competition to compete in 19 categories. Click here to see list of awards and students names.


2014 PSIA State Competition Winners!

At the 2014 PSIA state meet, Renaissance Academy students demonstrated impressive performance to grab 3 first place awards and 1 5th place awards.



A Renaissance student also won the Locke, Lidell & Sapp LLP Legal History Award for best overall project dealing with an issue from legal history.

    In the Central Texas History Fair held at LBJ Library on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, Renaissance Academy students won 8 Middle School Place Awards and 12 High School Place Awards as well as the History Fair’s only special award - Making Renaissance Academy "The Best Performing School at both the Middle and the High School level"


    Renaissance Academy High School students earned:

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in the Individual Exhibit category (2 students advancing to state)
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in the Group Exhibit category (4 students advancing to state)
  • 1st and 2nd Place in the Historical Paper category (2 students advancing to state)
  • 1st Place in the Group Performance category (5 students advancing to state)
  • 1st Place in the Individual Documentary category (advancing to state)
  • 2nd and 3rd Place in the Individual Website category (1 student advancing to state)

  • Renaissance Academy Middle School students earned:

  • Renaissance student also won The Locke, Lidell & Sapp LLP Legal History Award for best overall project dealing with an issue from legal history (this is the third year in a row, that a Renaissance Academy student has won this award, which is awarded from one of Austin’s prestigious law firms.)

REF's mission is to promote academic excellence, leadership skills, and distinguished moral principles in youth by providing infrastructural, operational and monetary support. Renaissance Academy is a REF initiative.
